Eyefinity, a gaming accessory

So I recently got my latest toy, a new display array and graphics card for my pc. One of the coolest features is the Eyefinity mode which enables you to use all your displays as one making gaming a little cooler.

I’ve only tried it out with a couple of games so far, Test drive unlimited 2 and Left 4 dead 2. The experience has been amazing but slightly flawed, probably because the games are no built to support this feature.

Both games perform great until you find some wall bugs and slight lag, they’re not really bad either, just bugs.

I found it very interesting that the Eyefinity messes with other applications due to the way it handles the three screens. I am unable to maximize a window because suddenly it’s streched edge to edge across three screens, not a very good way to navigate the web or work on text/images.

In fact, I’m going to try to get a hotkey in place to diable/re-enable the whole eyefinity thing if it is at all possible without getting mirrored displays instead.

It is however really impressive to play games like this!
